Scheduled Training

Introduction

 

This article will walk you through the process of adding and editing scheduled trainings as well as removing saved locations for scheduled trainings for the Foster Family Website. This feature allows your agency to schedule upcoming training classes (e.g. orientation meetings, CPR, etc.) for your existing and prospective foster homes. Foster families can sign up for these classes from your public website or the Foster Family Website.

An extendedReach User ID with Full Administrator user permissions.

Overview

 

Before working with Scheduled Training please see below for a brief description of the screen and fields.

  1. Sched. Date: The date the scheduled training is occurring.
  2. Agency: The name of your agency prepopulated.
  3. Time: The start and end time for the training.
  4. Activity Type: The activity linked for this training. This list is populated by all home activities configured with the activity category of training.
  5. # Credit Hours: The number of credit hours for this training.
  6. Instructor: The Name of the instructor for the training.
  7. Contact/RSVP: The name and contact information for the training.
  8. Description: A place to add a brief description of the training.
  9. Type: Include details about the training location. You can select check the box Save Location to save the location for future trainings, or select Saved Location to use location details of a previously saved location.
  10. Name: The name of the training location. This is a required field. If the training is online, it can be noted here.
  11. Building: The name of the building the training is located.
  12. Room #: The room number of the room the training is located in.
  13. Address 1: The address for the training location.
  14. Address 2: Additional address information for the training location.
  15. City: The name of the city for the training location.
  16. State: The name of the state for the training location.
  17. Zip: The zip code of the training location.
  18. County: The county of the training location.
  19. Max. Capacity: The maximum capacity available for the training. Please note that the system will not turn off registrations once the max capacity has been fulfilled. 
  20. Childcare Available: If childcare is available for the training.
  21. Max. Childcare: If childcare is available the maximum capacity available for the training.
  22. Type: Select if you would like a standard email acknowledgement sent to the home with the training name, date, time, and location details or type your own custom acknowledgement email.
  23. Signup Notification: Enter email addresses that you want to notify when attendees self-register for this training session.
  24. Branch: If you have branches in your system, select which branches can see this training.
  25. Available To: Select what type of homes that can see this training. If selecting specify provider type(s) select the provider types.
  26. Display: Select from the drop-down menu either yes or no if you would like this Scheduled Training on your agency’s public website.
  27. Region: Select from the drop-down menu if this should be viewed by only a particular region.
