Organization Preferences - Custom Tab

Introduction

 

This article will walk you through the process of configuring up to ten organization specific custom fields for home files that will display on the general tab in the custom fields section as well as updating your agency logo.

 

 

Prerequisites

 

  • An extendedReach User ID with Full Administrator user permissions

 

 

Overview - Field Types

 

Field Type Description
Checkbox Multiple options can be selected from a list of items.
Combo A drop-down menu to choose one option from a list of items.
Combo (Add)

A drop-down menu to choose one option from a list of items or add a new item by clicking on the green + icon.

Date To enter a date. Can be selected using the automatic calendar selector. The date field requires a date to be entered in and will result in an error if text is entered in rather than a date.
Numeric To enter a number. This only allows for a number to be entered into the field. It does not allow for special characters (such as commas, periods, dollar signs, etc.) this will result in an error message if text or characters are entered in rather than a number.
Radio Radio buttons to choose one option from a list of items.
Select A drop-down menu to select multiple options from a list of items. If an items was accidentally included in the selection, clicking on the X next to the item name to removes it.
Text Text allows for letters, special characters, and numbers.
