Introduction

This article is meant to assist you with the Home Tab in Foster Family Website.

Explanation and Purpose of Family Web Home Tab

The Home Tab controls what is displayed on the Home page of the family website. In addition, it controls what types of activities and reports the foster homes can submit to their home file.

Family Web Security Level Requirements and Access

You must be an Agency Administrator to access “Administration” on the left side of your Workspace. Go to “Organization Settings” , click on “Organization Preferences”, and select the “Family Web” tab at the top of the screen and click on “Edit”.

My Foster Home Configuration

Field Name Description
Resources Title This is the title that will appear on the Foster Family Website for a home resource you wish to offer. Leave blank to hide section.
Upcoming Training Label This is the title that will appear on the Foster Family Website for upcoming trainings.
Licensing Worker Label This is the title that will appear on the Foster Family Website for licensing worker.
Secondary Worker Label This is the title that will appear on the Foster Family Website for the secondary worker.
Earnings Label This is the title that will appear on the Foster Family Website for earnings.
Options Check the box next to the options you wish to include.
Hide ‘Home Tab’ Removes the home tab located at the top of the family web banner
Hide ‘Family Profile’ Section Removes the family profile section under the home tab
Hide ‘Earnings History’ Section Removes the earnings history
Hide Training History from Applicants Removes training history
Hide Training Hours “x months to finish y hours” Removes amount of training hours left to complete in a certain timeframe

 

Report Upload

There are two ways reports can be uploaded. Families can use the "Compliance Checklist" interface, which displays a list of items due similar to the Compliance Tab in extendedReach. The "Simple Upload" provides the families a drop-down menu of all the items they can upload.

To add items to the family compliance checklist, go to any report or activity and select “Show on Family Website Compliance Checklist”

Simple Upload Field Names Description
Families Can Upload to Home: Activities Place a check-mark in the box next to the Activities created in eR you wish to include. Activities will be filtered based upon the case’s program and the activity type’s configuration.
Families Can Upload to Home: Reports Place a check-mark in the box next to the Reports created in eR you wish to include. Reports will be filtered based upon the case’s program and the report type’s configuration.
