Explanation and Purpose of Family Website Content

Family Website Content allows your agency to share resources with Foster Homes throughout the Foster Family Website. Family Website Content can contain old manuals, training videos, downloadable PDF files, or links to other online resources.

 

Family Website Content Security Level Requirements and Access

You must be an Agency Administrator to access “Administration” on the left side of your Workspace. Go to “Organization Settings” and click on “Family Website Content”.

Editing Existing Content in Foster Family Website Portal

You should only add new content if no form exists with the same name.

Expand sections to view existing forms, by clicking on the plus symbol. Open content or form, by clicking on the blue hyper-link to make edits on an existing form.

Make the desired changes and be sure to save your edits.

To add new content, click on “Add Content”.

“Content Description”

Complete the required fields.

  • Name: Name is the title under which this content is stored.
  • Category: Select from the drop-down menu, the category to which this content applies. The chosen category will be where the documents or links display. For example, the "Newsroom Resources" show under the Communication tab on the Family Web and the "Children Resources" show under the Children tab on the Family Web. 
  • Available To: Check the box next to the provider type you want to access this content information.
  • Agency: Select from the drop-down menu, the agency to which this content applies.
  • Sort Order: The number you assign will determine the order in which this content type appears in the content menu found within the Foster Family Website.
  • Inactive: Only inactivate if you no longer wish to use this content type.

Select the content type you want for your family website, by clicking in the circle next to the desired Content Type.

“Webpage Content Section”

If you select Webpage as your Content Type from above, this box will appear. Complete the box, or leave blank if you would like to redirect to a URL or download a file directly in the sections below.

“Redirect to URL Section”

Use this section to paste any URLs you want to redirect to.

“File Attachments”

Use this section to upload any documents you want the Family Web users to access.
