How to Copy Activity/Report Types When a Case is Readmitted
Activities and Reports can be copied when a case is readmitted. Examples may include birth certificates, social security cards, or any activity or report that should appear in the new case file.
Administrators can select the setting “Copy this activity/report if case is readmitted” on an activity or report in the Configurator.
This functionality is triggered when a case is readmitted by accessing the discharged case under the Case Rosters > All Cases (Open + Closed) > and clicking Reopen > Readmit (New Case).
How to Add Copy Upon Readmit Setting to Existing Activities or Reports
To add this copy on readmit functionality to an activity or report that has been in use for some time, you must select the option to “Update all existing activities/reports” in the blue box that displays at the bottom of the screen after checking the new setting.
This will apply this setting to all the existing documents of that activity or report thereby copying that form upon readmit. If you do not select update all existing records, it will not apply this logic to existing forms. The new setting will only apply to newly admitted cases after the setting is saved and will copy upon readmission for those cases only.
