Home Print Templates

Introduction

 

This article will provide you with an overview of home print templates as well as instructions on adding one. Print Templates are printable forms that auto-fill with information from a home. These completed forms are not saved/stored in the system, but can be regenerated at any time with up-to-date information from the home database. Examples of print templates are face sheets or home case note summaries.

 

 

Prerequisites

 

An extendedReach User ID with one of the following user permissions:

 

  • Full Administrator
  • Restricted Administrator - Forms Administration

Print Template Information

  1. Template Name: Name of the print template.
  2. Menu Order: The number you assign will determine the order in which this template appears in the menu found within a the home print template list.
  3. Organization: Name of the organization using the print template.
  4. Available To: Refers to whom this print template is available.
  5. Inquiries: Check this box to limit the template to inquiries only.
  6. Households: Check this box to limit the template to households only.
  7. Other Residences: Check this box to limit the template to other residences only.
  8. Specify Provider Type(s): Check this box to indicate which provider types the print template will be available to within households, other residences or both.
  9. Household Types: Check the box to indicate which household provider types the print template will be available to.
  10. Other Residences Types: Check the box to indicate which other residences provider types the print template will be available to.

  1. Type: Can select File - Use Field Codes for a field coded Word document and File - Field Codes for a non field coded Word document.
  2. Paperclip Icon: Use the paperclip icon to attach the Word document print template.
  3. Trash Can Icon: Select the document you want to delete then click the trash can icon to allow for deletion when the print template is saved.
  4. Past Versions: Select to show the past saved and updated files from the last 45 days.
  5. Having trouble editing documents?: Select for instructions on downloading and installing the extendedReach Plugin.
