Introduction
This article is meant to guide you through understanding and using Community Posts in the Foster Family Website.
Explanation and Purpose of Community Posts
Community Posts are designed to provide foster families a forum for communicating with other foster families associated with your agency. You can ask questions and share ideas, as well as comment and discuss an existing post.
Accessing Community Posts
Go to the “Communication” section of the Foster Family Website and click on the Community Posts tab.

Creating a New Community Post
Click in the “Community Posts” box. Type your post and click on “Submit”.

This is what your new Community Post will look like after you click “Submit”. An email with this message will be delivered to all families associated with your agency that have an active Foster Family Website account.

Commenting on Community Posts
To comment on a Community Posts, click on the blue hyper-linked word, “Comment”.

Click in the box, type your message, and click on “Submit”.

Questionable Community Posts
If you see a post you feel is inappropriate, click the “Questionable Post” link.

This will launch an email to your agency’s Licensing Worker with a pre-filled subject line.
